Our premium beef from Creekstone Farms comes from hand-selected Black Angus cattle raised by trusted ranchers across the Midwest and processed at their own dedicated facility in Arkansas, Kansas. Their program focuses on genetics, humane handling, and strict food safety standards to deliver consistently high-quality beef.
Genetics and quality: Black Angus cattle are carefully chosen for true Angus genetics; only a small percentage qualify to carry the Creekstone name.
Animal welfare: Cattle are handled humanely from farm through processing, including a plant designed with animal welfare in mind by Dr. Temple Grandin.
Feed and flavor: Cattle graze on pasture and are finished on a high-quality corn-based diet that supports tenderness, marbling, and flavor.
USDA-certified program: Their Premium Black Angus Beef program is USDA certified and subject to ongoing inspections and third-party verification for quality and consistency.

Our fresh chicken comes from Gerber’s Amish Farm Chicken, based in Kidron, Ohio, partnering with family farms across the Midwest. They focus on simple feed, careful animal care, and independent verification to produce chicken you can feel good about serving.
Feed and nutrition: Chickens are fed an all-natural, vegetable-based diet made from corn and soybeans, with no antibiotics, animal by-products, added hormones, or steroids in the feed.
Raising conditions: Birds are raised in large, spacious houses where they can move freely and eat and drink as they wish, growing at a natural pace.
Animal welfare: Farms, hatchery, and processing follow strict humane handling protocols built around the Five Freedoms and are audited by an independent third-party certification group.

We carry only local lamb and veal raised in Butler County. We purchase whole or half animals and carefully butcher them in-house into the specific cuts you see in our display case.
Our fresh pork comes from Seaboard Foods, headquartered in Merriam, Kansas, with farms in Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Oklahoma, and Texas. They manage everything from feed to animal care and processing to provide safe, consistent, high quality pork.
Animal care: Veterinarians and trained staff oversee daily care, following national animal welfare standards.
Feed and nutrition: Pigs are fed grain based diets with carefully balanced vitamins and minerals, formulated in Seaboard’s own feed mills to support health and good meat quality.
Food safety: Farms and facilities are regularly checked through independent audits and USDA verified programs to meet or exceed government food safety standards.
Antibiotic use: Antibiotics are only used when needed to treat or prevent illness, never to promote growth. All use is recorded and withdrawal times are followed to help ensure safe pork for your family.
